Not another ode to Ted Kennedy
There are enough "in memory of" pieces full of cloying prose popping up all over the Web that I don't feel obliged to post anything about my own fond* memories of Edward M. Kennedy.
Then again, I do hope that the spirit of Mary Jo Kopechne now has an opportunity to, over and over again, drown Ted Kennedy's ravaged soul in a cold, dark place, for all eternity.
*I lied. They're not fond.

I'm with you, JD. In the hope of keeping my blood pressure down, I've been avoiding all the accolades today, but Mary Jo has definitely been on my mind.
Agreed. I have tried to think of something nice to say.....or think. It's been difficult. I guess the best I can come up with is 'wow, could he pack 'em away!' (Worked in my college days!)
To me it seems that getting rid of pollution (of any sort) should make things seem cleaner. In some ways, things do....
an ode to all of teddy's victims: you'll never know what you missed.
Somebody once said, "A statesman is a dead politician. Lord knows we need more statesmen."
