A servant to our president

It starts off earnest, gets creepy, and then turns downright horrifying.

MySpace Celebrity and Katalyst present The Presidential Pledge

Don't miss the double bicep kiss at 3:19. Or the very special pledge at 3:55.

It's a shame. I've always liked Marisa Tomei. I wish she would just ... you know ... shut up.

The self-righteousness is just oozing out of my computer screen. I can only begin to imagine how good it felt for all of them to finally be able to open up and declare their undying loyalty for the Obamessiah.
*I will give kudos to Strahan for bringing up the hyphenated American right at the beginning.

This may come as a big shock to you, JD, but ...

I DO NOT PLEDGE!!!

In fact, I can no longer even recite the official one. (How stupid is it to pledge allegiance to a scrap of fabric?)

My pledge doesn't change when the collective pretends its Ruler is new: "On my honor as a human being, I will give zero respect or obedience to counterfeit 'laws' or systems of belief, present or future. I do not give, nor have I ever given, consent to be subject to the whims of the criminal collective known as 'government'. I will strive to avoid aggression, but will defend myself and others in whatever way I see fit against all attacks. I will seek to live as free in my body as I already envision in my mind."

I advocate and continue to call for ALL liberty for Everyone, everywhere for ALL times in spite of the wishes of the collective. I am not your servant, BO.

And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie . . .

There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
